Date of Wedding: 12th July 2014 Marriage Location: Haselbury Mill, Haselbury Plucknett, Nr. Crewekerne, Somerset Reception: Haselbury Mill, Haselbury Plucknett, Nr. Crewekerne, Somerset
Steve and Jess invited approximately 65 of their close friends and family to witness their marriage at Haselbury Mill, Nr Crewekerne, Somerset. Verging on obsession with the weather this year we all paid close attention to the sky and thankfully the forecasted rain didn’t show itself until everyone was safely settled in the Tithe Barn and all outside photos were taken – phew!
The Dress code for this wedding was traditional and the couple chose gold, champagne and cream for their colour theme.
Jess asked her sister Emily to be her bridesmaid and Emily’s daughter Kate as the gorgeous little Flower Girl.
Emily wore a knee length strapless dress, which to me looked like a shade of peach – whilst little Kate wore a traditional white dress with of course those lovely white gloves.
Jess herself wore a beautiful diamond white floor length dress with a lace upper bodice, which formed the straps. It was an A line style with a generous train - the dress was trimmed with beads, crystals and sequins and everyone agreed that Jess wore it beautifully and looked stunning.
Steve asked his brother Tom to be his bestman.
The Groom and groomsmen were dressed in formal grey morning suits with tails, ivory waistcoats and gold cravats to match the colour theme for the day.
Haselbury is in full bloom at the moment and as always looks beautiful and makes the most fabulous wedding venue.
I would like to thank Jess and Steve for asking me to capture their wedding day and also I would like to thank both families for being so fabulous and kind – you made it a thoroughly enjoyable day and I’m sure it will be a day that Jess and Steve will remember forever with love and affection.
