Date of Wedding: 29th May2014 Marriage Location: Haselbury Mill, Haselbury Plucknett, Nr. Crewekerne, Somerset Reception: Haselbury Mill, Haselbury Plucknett, Nr. Crewekerne, Somerset
Shaun and Kirsty invited approximately 85 of their close friends and family to witness their marriage at Haselbury Mill, Nr Crewekerne, Somerset. Haselbury looks stunning this time of year especially now that the yellow iris are in full bloom.
The Dress code for this wedding was traditional and the couple chose pink for their colour theme.
Kirsty asked her friend Sarah to be her Chief Bridesmaid; her sister Carina and her friends Lucy and Lisa to be her other three bridesmaids . Shaun’s daughter Chloe of course stole the show as Flower Girl. The bridesmaids did a magnificent job looking after their bride for the day – well done girls.
The bridesmaids wore full-length, blush pink sheer satin dresses with shoulder straps and sweetheart necklines.
Kirsty herself wore a beautiful white dress, which had a patterned lace overlay. The dress itself was of the fishtail style and had a puddle train. A beautiful dress in which all agreed, Kirsty looked stunning.
Shaun chose his friend Andrew as his bestman and friends Craig and Greg as his Ushers. They did everything they could to ensure that the Groom had a fabulous day – even forcing themselves to join with him in the drinking game – well that’s true friendship – the boys were great fun – goodness knows if they managed to last the evening.
The Groom and groomsmen were dressed in formal grey morning suits, ivory waistcoats and pink cravats and accessories to match the colour theme for the day.
As always the Haselbury team worked tirelessly throughout the day and provided Shaun and Kirsty with the beautiful wedding that they deserved.
True to form this year the weather played a big part in on the day – we experienced rain and rain and rain – in fact at one point it was torrential – I have never seen it rain so heavily. However, the wet weather did not dampen Shaun and Kirsty’s day and in between the heavy downpours we did manage to get out a grab a few beautiful images.
Shaun and Kirsty - what a lovely Wedding Day - thank you for asking Di and me to capture your wedding images – I’m sure in between the showers we have managed to capture some great images.
