Date of Wedding: 10th August 2012 Marriage Location: Brympton House, Brympton D'Evercy, Yeovil, Somerset Reception: Brympton House, Brympton D'Evercy, Yeovil, Somerset
Neil and Shelly invited 65 guests to their wedding which was held at Brympton House, Brympton D'Evercy, Nr Yeovil, Somerset
Dress code for this wedding was traditional and Shelly chose purples for her colour theme.
Shelly had 3 bridesmaids (Amy - Chief Bridesmaid; Ju and daughter Courtney) and Flower Girl (niece Isabella) - who all looked fabulous in purple and white dresses.
Neil had his brother Dave as his best man and Shelly's brother Steven and friend Simon did a sterling job as Ushers. All were superbly turned out in grey morning suits with purple matching accessories.
The weather managed to behave itself which allowed the bridal party and guests to enjoy the impressive grounds that comprise Brympton House. The ice creams provided by Matthew Cooper were a welcome relief during the hot summer's afternoon and all were impressed with Sarah Bailey who provided hours of fun capturing the caricatures of all the guests.
The stand out moment for me was without doubt the performance provided by Rob Bennison's Singing Waiters. They were tremendous fun and certainly put everyone in the right mood to go on and enjoy the evening celebrations which were orchestrated by the magnificent Roger Knight of the Smile Entertainment Co based near Yeovil.
This was a fabulous summer wedding that had everything - Neil and Shelly thank you for letting me share this special day with you - I don't have to ask if you enjoyed your day - I know you did.
