Date of Wedding: 12th April 2014 Marriage Location: St Francis Church, Saxon Road, Bridgwater, Somerset Reception: Woodlands Castle, Taunton, Somerset
Ben and Kerry invited approximately 90 guests to witness their marriage at St Francis of Assisi Church in Bridgwater. St Francis of Assisi is the most modern church in Bridgwater built in 1965 and the high windows provide the church with a light interior – very suitable for photographs.
The Dress code for this wedding was traditional and the couple chose orange and blue for their colour theme.
Kerry had 3 friends for her bridesmaids – Nicola, Katie and Gemma. The girls wore floor length deep blue dresses with v-necks and bouquets consisting of burnt orange flowers. The bridesmaids did a great job of looking after their bride for the day and all three had a great sense of fun which really helped the day go as well as it did. After a shaky start I think I finally got everyone’s name right – sorry.
Kerry herself wore a beautiful diamond white floor length, strapless, A line wedding dress with a generous train - the dress was trimmed with beads, crystals and sequins but the feature of the dress was the short feathers sewn into it which besides looking stunning, complemented the theme of white feathers carried through to the table decorations at the Reception. Kerry of course wore it beautifully and looked stunning.
Ben chose his friend Jordan as his Best Man and his brother Matthew was the chosen to act as Usher.
The Groom and groomsmen were dressed in formal black morning suits, ivory waistcoats with cravats (blue for Ben and Orange for Jordan and Matthew) – all wore orange buttonholes.
The Reception was held at Woodland’s Castle and the team provided a stunning wedding venue, which provided the bridal party and their guests with a beautiful location from which to enjoy this special day.
Great speeches – Ben’s was certainly one of the best Groom’s speeches I have heard and Tim’s was also brilliant after a got into his stride.
Ben and Kerry - what a lovely relaxed Wedding Day - thank you for asking me to capture your wedding images – I’m sure we’ve captured some great images and I look forward to showing you them in the near future.
