Reception: The Manor Hotel, 26 Henford, Yeovil, Somerset BA20 1TG

Mike & Emma invited approximately 60 guests to witness their wedding at The Manor Hotel, Yeovil, Somerset.

The Manor has a rich history - it was built in 1776 and was originally a private house, known as Hendford House owned by the Daniell family who were responsible for establishing 'Yeovil Old Bank'. The house was attacked by the mob during the famous 'Reform' riot in Yeovil during March 1831.

Dress code for the day was formal with the groomsmen and Page Boys dressed in grey tails and cream paisley waistcoats with purple accessories matching the colour theme for the day.

Emma asked her sister Sophie, Michael’s sister Claire, Goddaughter Mercy and friends Cher and Kelly Sister to be her Bridesmaids. Their daughter Lacey and Neice Alisha completed the line up of Bridesmaids and Flower Girls.

Emma wore a traditional full length white A line wedding dress with an empire waistline, sweetheart neckline and lace straps. The dress had a short puddle train and Emma decided to wear a three quarter length veil.

The Bridesmaids wore full-length purple dresses with sweetheart necklines and a single over-the-shoulder strap.

Mike asked his friend Dale to be his Best Man and Emma’s Brother Norton to perform the duties of Usher for the day.

The weather didn’t behave today and we did have scattered showers throughout the day. However, that didn’t prevent us from making our way down to Ninesprings to have a photoshoot with the bride and groom, bridesmaids and groomsmen. A nice little bonus was the stop part way through the shoot to admire a couple of beautiful owls.

The staff at the Manor worked had to provide our lucky couple with a day to remember.
