We got married on 12th July 2014 at Haselbury Mill, and have already forgotten most things about the day - it just goes so quickly! That is why we wanted to chose carefully all aspects about the photography of the day, as we knew this is how we will remember our special day for the rest of our lives. We chose wisely and quite frankly didn't have to worry, or do much at all, as Ray did such a fantastic job.
Have so much to compliment Ray about, but will start with the meetings. We met at Ray's house on four different occasions, two before and two after the big day. He was always very flexible when it came to arranging meeting times, and on one meeting even allowed us to bring along our very young puppy as we didn't want to leave her at home! We always felt very comfortable, relaxed and never felt any pressure at all. His expertise is obvious and makes decision making easy (we recommend just listening to Ray's advice), and the quality of the final album is like no wedding album we've ever seen before - it really is a work of art. He takes stunning photographs.
Ray was exceptionally professional on our wedding day, but what was most extraordinary was how he fitted in. He felt like another family friend sharing our day with us, just one with a camera. Many of the photos he took we had no idea he had taken them, but when he wanted certain photos he took the time to make sure everything was set perfect to get the perfect shot. We heard so many of our guests complimenting how Ray went about his work, making sure he got us the best photos of the day but in a very friendly manor. He really understands how important the wedding day is for us and the family, but also how important the wedding album and wedding photographs are.
As you can see, we cannot praise Ray enough, he simply is the perfect wedding photographer - but even better. He has so much experience that we actually used Ray (unbeknown to him) to plan much of our wedding day!
If anyone wants to see our wedding album to see Ray's work, then contact him and ask him to contact us as we would be happy to show it off to anyone.
