Date of Wedding: 4th July 2015 Marriage Location: St.Martin of Tours Church, West Coker, Somerset BA22 9DT Reception: The Grange at Oborne, Sherborne, Dorset DT9 4LA
Martyn & Charlotte invited approximately 80 guests to witness their marriage at St Martin of Tours Church, West Coker. The weather did everything to behave itself and we were blessed with a glorious day of sunshine.
After the service the bridal party made their way to The Grange at Oborne, where in the evening we were joined by a further 30 guests.
The Dress code for this wedding was traditional and the colour theme was a mix of mint green and peach.
A special mention for the flowers - that were beautiful - lots of fresh pastille colours - fabulous arrangements.
Charlotte looked beautiful in her dress - it was a white fishtail style and I love that style of dress - very flattering for Charlotte's slight figure. The dress had a separate section for the upper bodice and shoulders in a wrap around style tied at the back with a big white satin bow. Charlottes also wore a full length Cathedral veil and the whole ensemble was finished off with Charlotte's Gran's beautiful broch. You looked stunning kiddo.
Charlotte asked her friend Vicki to be her Chief Bridesmaid and her other bridesmaids were made up of her friend Lisa, Martyn's sister Holly and Kelly Charlotte's cousin. The bridesmaids wore knee length peach dresses, each with a peach coloured flower in their hair and looked fabulous.
Martyn had two bestmen, one was his brother Bobby and the other was his friend Mike. The Ushers were made up of friends Gordon, Jim and Steve. Charlotte and Martyn's children Ollie and Leo were the very well behaved Page Boys. The groomsmen wore traditional blue morning suits with ivory waistcoats and accessories that matched the mint green colour theme for the day.
The Grange looked wonderful - I cannot emphasise how impressed I was with the Grange - the venue is beautiful - wonderful for photographs and the staff and just so accommodating - I am sure everyone had the most fabulous day.
Full marks to the couple for their first dance - not many take the trouble to work out a first dance routine and yours was fantastic - some very impressive moves - everybody loved it and it just added a little more to an already wonderful day.
Well done you two you put together an extraordinary day which hopefully with the help of our pictures you will remember forever.
My thanks for asking us to be part of your wedding day and allowing us to capture your wedding images. xx
