Date of Wedding: 4th May 2013 Marriage Location: Haselbury Mill, Haselbury Plucknett, Nr. Crewekerne, Somerset Reception: Haselbury Mill, Haselbury Plucknett, Nr. Crewekerne, Somerset
Jon and Danni invited approximately 90 guests to witness their marriage at Haselbury Mill. There were some angry clouds early in the morning but by lunch time they had blown away and we were treated to the most fabulous blue skies for the rest of the day.
The Dress code for this wedding was traditional and I am reliably informed by the bridesmaids that the couple chose coral for their colour theme - for those that don't know what colour coral is you will have to see the pictures - I have to say I think coral was a brilliant choice.
Danni had 6 bridesmaids in all and a lovelier set of girls you could not have wished for. They were great fun and I particularly enjoyed their fun during Bridal Preparation - well done girls I'm sure you helped Danni relax and thoroughly enjoy the preparation hours leading up to the service.
The bridesmaids were dressed in Coral Orange 1950's styled Salsa dresses and they were made up of ... now let me get the names right...Zoe (Maid of Honour - Danni's sister), Sam (friend), Lizzi (friend), Helen (friend), Stacie (friend) and of course the lovely Olivia (Flower girl - Jon's Neice).
Danni herself was dressed in a beautiful diamond white wedding dress with a generous train - the top of the dress was trimmed with beads, crystals and sequins and the same beading was used with a detailed design to embellish the side of the dress. Danni wore it beautifully and looked stunning.
Jon chose his friend Steve as his Best Man and his Ushers were Mikey (friend), Jamie (friend), Nick (friend) and the wonderful Page Boy James ( Jon's Nephew).
All the groomsmen were dressed in formal morning suits with grey tails, ivory waistcoats with coral cravats and matching accessories and buttonholes. Well done lads you did a fabulous job for your groom and thanks to Mikey for helping me out with the Formal Photographs.
Danni and Jon were the first couple to be married in Haselbury Mill's brand new Belvedere. The Belvedere is a marvellous addition to the Haselbury Mill wedding experience. It is a beautiful open sided wooden pavilion situated in the grounds in front of the Tithe Barn. Guests are seated on the grass with a red carpet running up to the Belvedere steps. The bridal party are seated in the Belvedere where the service is conducted. It was a spectacular success and provided Jon and Danni with the most incredible wedding ceremony.
A stringed quartet entertained guests before and after the service and very enjoyable they were as well.
Loved the speeches especially Nicks and Steve's.
I have to thank Jon for his patience during the photographs - i know the pictures were not your favourite part of the day but you stuck at it well and I'm sure you will be pleased with the results.
Danni and Jon - what a lovely Wedding Day - I'm so pleased you asked me to capture your wedding images - have a great honeymoon and I look forward to showing you your wedding images on your return.
