Date of Wedding: 25th April 2015
Marriage Location: Alexandra Hotel, Lyme Regis Dorest DT7 3HZ
Reception: Parnham Farm, Netherbury, Dorset

Paul & Sophie invited approximately 20 guests to witness their marriage at The Alexandra Hotel in Lyme Regis, Dorset. After 2 to 3 weeks of continuous blue skies the weather gods decided today was the day to have a change. We had rain overnight and by the morning the skies were overcast and heavy but late morning the skies cleared and there was great optimism that the forecasters had got it wrong and we were going to have another beautiful day. A beautiful day we did have but the blue skies were short lived and squally showers cut short the afternoon photoshoot. Still the weather was of no concern to the Bride and Groom who had a fabulous day.

The Dress code for this wedding was traditional and although Paul and Sophie didn't chose a particular colour theme for their day , pinks and oranges were in clear evidence.

Sophie looked beautiful in her dress which was a full length, high neck line Ball Gown. The dress was designed with a Princess fitted bodice waistline supporting a large full skirt. In addition, the dress was sleeveless with a lace peephole back. The train to the dress was of the Court Style and the colour had the slightest hint of pink. Sophie wore a short waist length veil.

Paul and Sophie's Father wore grey morning suits with ivory waistcoats and matching accessories and buttonholes.

The Marriage was held at the Alexandra Hotel in Lyme Regis. The venue is stunning and on a clear day the view from the gardens is beautiful with the whole of Lyme Regis as your backdrop. We managed to take advantage of the backdrop with our photographs, with the rain pushing in as the call for Afternoon Tea came.
After friends and family finished Afternoon Tea at the Alexandra the wedding party relocated to the evening venue, which was in their home village of Netherbury.

The evening venue was held in a marquee in the beautiful gardens of Parnham Farm. We managed to take advantage of those gardens with a few more photographs of the couple before I said my farewells and left Paul and Sophie to enjoy the celebrations of the evening.

My thanks to Paul and Sophie for asking me to be part of their wedding day and allowing me to capture this, their special day - I loved it.
