Date of Wedding: 1st August 2015
Marriage Location: Pennard House, East Pennard, Shepton Mallet, Somerset BA4 6TP
Reception: Pennard House, East Pennard, Shepton Mallet, Somerset BA4 6TP

Sam & Laura invited approximately 80 guests to witness their marriage at Pennard House, East Pennard, Shepton Mallet, Somerset. As always to report my obsession with the weather - it started off gloriously but never really became brilliant - in fact it got a bit gloomy at one stage and we had a few scattered showers - still as always it didn't spoil the day.

Sam is my 1st cousin (once removed) and it was lovely to see the rest of my family on this special day.

Both the service and the reception were held at Pennard House and a marvellous venue they provide for such an occasion. The house and gardens are fabulous and I am sure they couple were thrilled with the venue they had chosen.

The Dress code for this wedding was traditional and the colour theme was blue and yellow.
Laura looked beautiful in her dress - goodness how do I describe the colour - it was a mix between peach and champagne - it had a strapped sweetheart neckline and a small puddle train.

Laura also wore a small lace veil.

Laura had three bridesmaids - Carly (her sister) - Hayley (Sam's sister) and Melonie (Laura's friend). Hayley's daughter Taya was the prettiest of Flower Girls.

The bridesmaids wore knee length dark blue dresses and Taya wore a beautiful pleated knee length white Flower Girl's dress - they all looked stunning.

Sam asked his friend Tom to be his bestmen and his two Ushers were also his friends - Tom & Alex.

The groomsmen wore traditional blue lounge suits with ivory waistcoats and accessories that matched the blue and yellow colour theme for the day.

I left the celebrations after the 1st dance and I have a feeling the party was just about to get into full swing. Guys you organised a super day and I know everyone would have loved it and I'm sure you did as well. I look forward to providing you with the images that will remind you of this special day.
