Date of Wedding: 6th April 2013 Marriage Location: The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Chard Photographs: Montacute House, Montacute, Somerset Reception: Norton Sub Hambdon Village Hall
Berkley and Sarah invited 125 guests to their wedding and a further 20 guests to their evening celebration.
Dress code for Berkley and Sarah's wedding was traditional and the couple chose blush pink for their colour theme with the younger bridesmaids dressed in white with pink sashes and accessories.
Sarah had 3 bridesmaids and they all looked stunning. Sarah's Chief Bridesmaid and Maid of Honour was her long time friend Sheena and Sarah's two daughters Amber and Poppy looked a picture as the two younger bridesmaids - two better behaved bridesmaids you could not have wished for.
Sarah herself was dressed in a beautiful snowy white wedding dress in which she looked fabulous.
Berkley chose his friend Phil as his Best Man and his 3 Ushers were made up of Colin (Sheena's husband) and his two friends Phil and Joe. The groomsmen did a fantastic job during the day and were also great fun.
All the groomsmen were dressed in formal morning suits with black tails, ivory waistcoats and blush pink cravats.
The bridal party looked stunning..
The marriage was conducted at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses with Hector presiding over the ceremony and an excellent job he did as well.
After the service the bridal party and guests all transferred to Montacute House for photographs. This provided me with a beautiful photo opportunity with Montacute House and Gardens as the magnificent backdrop. The weather behaved itself and at last the temperature managed to climb into double figures for the first time this year. Still chilly but just manageable.
After the formal photographs I managed to steal a few moments with the bride and groom where we managed to capture a few 'special' photographs of the happy couple just relaxing in the grounds of this wonderful house.
When we had finished with the photographs the whole wedding party moved onto the Norton Sub Hamdon Village Hall where everyone enjoyed a veritable feast which included a hog roast and more desserts than you could shake a stick at!
The speeches were very good and I particularly enjoyed Phil's - the best man's speech.
I really enjoyed Sarah's and Berkley's wedding - there was a great sense of community with everyone doing their 'bit' to ensure that the bride and groom had their fabulous day. It was day that young and old had the most remarkable and memorable day - I was so glad to be asked to be part of it.
